Carl was invited to the invitation-only Pikes Peak International Hill Climb held July 20-22, 2007. Carl had the first 928 Porcshe to race the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. The race was shown on both ESPN and the Speed Channel. The cage was designed specifically for competition in SCCA and Pikes Peak races.

"Just got in from Colorado Springs, CO and the 85th running of the World’s #1 Hill climb event, The Pikes Peak International Race to the Clouds. Our Supercharged Porsche 928, fitted with your parts from your sponsorship, finished 3rd in the Pikes Peak Open Division. We got a podium finish on our first attempt! Thursday night after practice, the city of Colorado Springs shut down the center of town for Fan Appreciation night. All the top qualifiers (including us) were there with their race cars for fans to enjoy. We put kids in and out of the seats, Signed autographs and took pictures with them. It was great PR. Just want to thank you for your sponsorship and make sure you knew of our success on your behalf."
